Leather Crossbody Bag FAQs
What fits inside a crossbody bag?
Our crossbody bags are designed for essentials. The compact camera crossbody fits a phone, wallet, keys, and a few cards. The larger crossbody models comfortably hold a phone, small wallet, sunglasses, a paperback book, and other daily essentials. The springbok crossbody is our most spacious, with room for a small tablet as well.
What is springbok leather?
Springbok leather is genuine hide from the South African springbok antelope, sourced through regulated conservation and culling programmes. The hide has a distinctive spotted pattern and natural texture that varies from animal to animal, making every piece unique. It’s lightweight, durable, and unmistakably South African. We combine it with our full-grain vegetable-tanned leather for contrast and structure.
Are the crossbody straps adjustable?
Yes, every crossbody bag features an adjustable leather strap that can be lengthened or shortened to suit your height and preferred carrying position. The straps are wide enough to distribute weight comfortably and reinforced at the attachment points for long-term durability.
Is the camera crossbody bag only for cameras?
Not at all. We call it the camera crossbody because of its compact, boxy shape — similar to a vintage camera case. It’s actually our most versatile small bag. Customers use it for phones, wallets, travel documents, evening essentials, and yes, compact cameras too. At R650, it’s also our most affordable leather bag.
